T - minus 10 Weeks

Trysh has been doing really well, but we are in the last trimester, where things can get uncomfortable. Not to mention we are headed into the hot & humid part of a midwest summer. She has been getting around really well, doing a lot of things, but is putting in more effort getting up and is losing definition in her ankles. She puts her feet up as much as possible, but its not really in her nature to sit all the time. She describes her feet as "badly drawn ankles". Maybe we'll throw a picture in a little later. We still haven't found a name, but we are making a list, so there is still time to send in those suggestions.

NAME THAT TBD

Now that we know that TBD is a boy, we need name suggestions. We may or may not pick a name from the list directly, but we want your input.

I'll start you off.

1. Boomer.
2...

You can do better. Have at it.

TBD is a B

Well this was a big day. We have new pictures. TBD is now the size of a banana. And we know that TBD is a BOY! I was surprised. Trysh had me pretty convinced, using that women's intuition thing that we were going to have a girl.

For about a week I would argue that we were having a boy, but then I believed it too.

We asked the ultrasound person to write the sex on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope for us. After our appointment, we took the envelope for a walk out to the lake and opened the envelope. It was a totally perfect day. Sunny, calm, the first really nice day after a serious winter. We sat on the wall, opened the envelope and looked at our yellow sticky pad answer.

So now we are have to think of boy names. And we have to get some miniature sports equipment.

South Paw

This is pretty cute too. Like a kitty hiding behind its paw. When the tech made Trysh shake her hips, TBD waved her arms and legs. That made it more real.

More Underwater Photography

We call the little person TBD. We say it like teebeedee. Its a nickname that stuck from a reunion of Trysh's nearest relatives.

These were some pictures we got at prenatal screening which TBD aced. If the kid can keep it up through the SATs, we got nothing to worry about.

The thing I like most about this picture is the charlie brown feet. Very cute.
